CARBEDO’S CASTLE:
The Carbedo´s castle are placed in the town of Carbedo, to arrive we had
to follow the road that goes to the
road Seoane to Campelo, and just before
arrive to Campelo we can see the Castle down the road. Building in the Middle
Age and although now was in ruins (conserves some walls, rests of a circle
tower, part of a floor and a well), offering a
great picture remenbering old times of defensive, vigilance and
“castrense” missions in the pass between Lugo and León. In this castle been
hide Alfonso II el Casto, when he was under protection of the monk of
SMITHY OF SEOANE:
The smithy of Seoane is one
of the most conserve and great factory of tradicional iron&steel industry
of Galicia. Building at first years of the XIX century (year 1808) for the iron
elaboration from the mountain Formigueiros using like energy font the strong
waters of the Río Lor. Its important too the two towers by the “banzado”with a
high of 10 m. Lately was transform in
mill, sawmill,hydroelecthic power station, making electricity for all the
Caurel. Actually was restain by mean of the General Direction of Turism.

María. Constructión of the XVII Century resalting
the gates´s porch and the richest altarpiece with the important gold articles.

Folgoso: Santa María.
Noceda: San Pedro. Is a
construction with strong walls and buttress, great and close gates, step
by step towers sitting on the top and flat .
Seceda:
San
Silvestre. Fue construida en el s. XVII, destaca por su amplia torre cuadrada,
porche y varios retablos barrocos.
Visuña: Santa Eufemia.
Hórreos: San Pedro.
